In Tahitian culture, vegetation and flowers are part of our daily life and form the foundation of our traditional dress. Natural fibres are used in a practical sense for food, building homes, medicine, gifts and clothing, and also function as a means of story telling.

My Tiare flower was drawn using Procreate, turned into a textile pattern on Photoshop, and with the magic of sublimation printing, it was brought to life.

The Tiaré flower has cultural, religious, social and mythological significance in the islands of Tahiti. It remains a symbol of harmony, power, positivity and femininity.

My two mini bags 'Coconé 1 & 2' were inspired by
'Le chiquito' bags by 
JACQUEMUS.

   The small nature of these mini bags made them a real challenge to create, but as a result were very rewarding once finished.
